About Issues
There are many issues that are extremely important to Tim Williams and the growing number of people who are already supporting him. As he continues to campaign, there are several issues Tim will highlight, beginning with three.
- Fight Crime. Tim will work to support anti-crime bills that increase penalties against: ex-felons who violate parole; sexual predators and offenders; and people who sell drugs to children.
- Protect Taxpayers. As someone who has survived a family medical financial crisis more than once, Tim will demand the state adhere to its budget and exhaust every possible solution before raising taxes, and he’ll fight for a balanced budget.
- Support Education. As someone who had no choice but to study in between working through much of his childhood, Tim places a high value on the importance of education in Nevada. He will fight to see that more money makes it to the classrooms for teachers and student resources.

About Families
Tim Williams understands families. His father, Tim Williams Sr., knows what it is like to have inadequate health insurance. To make a better life for his family, the elder Mr. Williams started his own union drywall company. Tim’s mother, while caring for seven children, some of them with disabilities, worked as a part-time bookkeeper for the company.
Through it all, their family weathered every storm with determination and faith. Their feelings have not changed. They are grateful for every day, a value Tim shares with his own family.
Tim is helping to raise his two children and care for his wife of 13 years. When he is not working and spending time with them, Tim dedicates much of his time to leading a men’s group at his local church. He wants to bring similar values to the state assembly, lending his unique experience as a working-class family business owner, real estate professional, and family man.
Tim firmly believes that the time for talk is over. As someone who has walked in the same shoes that many of his neighbors have walked in, he believes our state government must begin to act responsibly and with accountability.
